Cagayan de Oro City – The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office under the esteemed leadership of Police Colonel SALVADOR N RADAM, City Director marks the significant accomplishment that was successfully undertaken by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of COCPO which resulted to the arrest of two (2) High Value-Individuals and seizure of 1010 grams of shabu with estimated market value of PHP 6,868,000.00 in Violation of R.A 9165 and one. 380 revolver w/ 5 live ammunitions in Violation of RA 10591 during buy-bust operation on April 8, 2024, 9:10PM at Kolambog Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.

The official stated in his report to Police Brigadier General RICARDO G LAYUG JR, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 10 that pertaining to the significant accomplishment of City Drug Enforcement Unit has resulted to the Arrest of High Value Individuals (HVI) identified as I**** P***** y B***** aka Kokoy male, 46 years old, single and J***** G***** y C******, male, 44 years old, single and are both residents of Kolambog, Lapasan, CDOC.

Further in his report, City Director added that said Buy-bust operation was under PDEA Pre-Ops No. 30002-042024-0155 and spearheaded by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of COCPO (CDEU-COCPO) led by Police Major ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO, Chief of City Drugs Enforcement Unit which resulted to the arrest of the above mentioned suspects and instrumental to the confiscation of the following items; One piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu as a buy-bust item; Ten large sachets of heat-sealed transparent plastic containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu as possession; Seventeen small sachets of heat-sealed transparent plastic containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu as possession; One piece of 1000 peso bill used as buybust money; One unit of caliber .380 revolver with five live ammunitions; One digital weighing scale.

Police Colonel RADAM emphasized that the said notable accomplishment was the results of the collective efforts of COCPO Personnel and the active participation given by the community. Through careful planning, proper coordination and the dedication of every COCPO personnel has pave the way in delivering fruitful results to every Police operations conducted by COCPO within its Area of Responsibility which was also aligned with the mandates of the newly installed Chief PNP to strengthen our Anti-Criminality Campaign focusing on Anti-Illegal Drugs Operations.
