Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines- The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) under the leadership of Police Colonel SALVADOR N RADAM, City Director ensures the general public that security preparations are all set for the upcoming 3rd State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. today, July 22, 2024 in the afternoon.
COCPO and the entire Philippine National Police is already taking comprehensive measures to ensure maximum preparedness for the upcoming historical event, the SONA 2024. These measures includes the deployment of personnel in areas of convergence, strengthening Police Assistance Desks PADs, Mobilization of PNP Force Multipliers, sustained Police Checkpoints in all strategic areas, road closures and no permit no rally policy in coordination with the local government unit.
The PNP shall exercise maximum tolerance but we will not hesitate to enforce the full force of the law on individuals or groups who seek to cause harm or danger to our community.
COCPO is committed to continuously monitoring potential threats and laying out security measures to ensure the safety and security of the public
