COCPS1 IN PURSUIT OF THE ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT
The Cagayan De Oro City Police Office assures the public to apprehend the unidentified male culprit who robbed the New Leaf Bakery at Tiano-Cruz Taal St. Barangay 8, Cagayan de Oro City.
Friga Hinacay, an assistant supervisor of the said store, female, 39 years old, married, and resident of Barangay 22, this city, defined the suspect as skinny, with big eyes, and 5’10 in height.
On or about 5: 05 PM, July 31, 2022, this office received a call through the hotline from personnel of New leaf Bakery, informing us that their store was robbed (Hold-up) by an unidentified male.
Upon receipt of the said report, elements of this office on board a mobile patrol led by PLT MAOCHIN A ZAYAS, DEPUTY STACOM, under the direct supervision of PMAJ SEBASTIAN BALAGOT CHUA JR, immediately responded to the reported area.
Upon arrival, thereat specific Friga Hinacay store assistant supervisor disclosed that while she was standing inside, near the cashier, an unidentified suspect came inside and acted as a customer; when she got closer to her, the suspect was armed with a short firearm of unknown caliber covered with face towel color blue suddenly pointed to her and declared Hold-up, as she was afraid she took the cash sales (paper bills) from the drawer and gave it to the suspect amounting to eight thousand pesos (8,000.00).
Friga, added that the suspect wearing a black sweatshirt, black helmet, and a black facemask and fled on foot, heading towards Capistrano’s direction, this City.
The City Director appealing to the public to cooperate by feeding information pertaining to this recent robbery incident. Station Commanders and Chief of Special Units were directed to sealed off the possible exit of the suspect by conducting random chokepoints in AOR.
