COCPO- Milicia ng Bayan surrenders to COCPO during the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations ( SACLEO).

PCOL AARON MANDIA, City Director reported to PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director that PLTCOL Joephet Paglinawan, Force Commander facilitated the voluntary surrender of a member of Milicia ng Bayan at KM18, Brgy Besigan, Cagayan de Oro City at about 6:45 PM August 31, 2022.

The official identified the surrenderee as LIZA MALUNANGNANG y CEDOM aka SALLY, 20 y/o resident of Sitio Alimpulos, Brgy Kawayan, San Fernando Bukidnon.

The Force commander stated that a certain William Alamada (BIN) reported to CMFC operatives, stated that an alleged NPA in the Barrio member of SRC5, found at KM18, Brgy Besigan thereafter PSMs Gil Agne, PSMs Ryan Perez and PSMs Andy Balabat conducted negotiation and convinced him to voluntarily surrender.

PLTCOL Paglinawan further stated that at around 3:00pm of August 25, 2022, CMFC intel operatives together with R2 and NCMSO conducted intel driven opn.

PLTCOL Paglinawan stressed out that at around 6:45PM of August 31, 2022 CMFC Operatives (Lead unit) led by PLT FELZAR LOUIE FERNANDEZ, TL, ERT personnel led by PLT RAUL GORRA together with CIU led by PLTCOL HARVIE S ABELLANOSA, Chief CIU, APC-EM led by PSMs Rian T Perez, RID-10 led by PSMs Gil T Agne Jr, PS8 COCPO led by PMAJ ALDRIN BACULIO, RIU, RID, RMFB10 led by PLTCOL FERMIN D ARMENDARES, RMFB 10 Intel Ops led by PCPT BYRON JOHN O RATUNIL Intel Officer, 1003rd Maneuver Company led by PCPT JASON R FELICILDA 1004th Maneuver Company led by PCPT JOEMAR B CALUD, NCMSO-MAPIO led by PMAJ MICHAEL B ELOPRE, proceeded to, KM18 Brgy Besigan, Cagayan de Oro City and facilitated the voluntary surrender of the abovenamed person.

Upon arrival thereat at about 6:45 PM same date, the Militia ng Bayan surrendered her 1 unit. 38 Cal Revolver defaced SL# with 3 Live Ammos.

Afterwards they proceeded back to CMFC COCPO and arrived at around 9:10pm in the evening.

The said surrenderee is now in the custody of CMFC for further debriefing.

PCOL Mandia lauded the efforts of the COCPO personnel and its allies in heeding the mandates on EO 70- NTF ELCAC.

An appropriate citations, medals and awards is being prepared.##
