Cagayan de Oro City – The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office under the strong leadership of Police Colonel SALVADOR N RADAM, City Director expressed his sincerest thanks to the Men and Women of COCPO, Force Multipliers, the Local Government of Cagayan de Oro City, COCPO Advocacy Support Groups, Stakeholders, AFP, Volunteers and the responsive community of the City of Golden Friendship, the City of Gold Cagayan de Oro City for a peaceful and solemn celebration of PANAAD 2024.
Police Colonel SALVADOR N RADAM, City Director spearheaded the Pre-Deployment
Briefing in relation to the yearly event our Roman Catholic devotees as a celebration of the PANAAD 2024 and Jumpstart the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday of the Holy Week as the highlight of the entire occasion. The Chief of COCPO emphasized the role of the PNP uniformed personnel in attaining our primary objective to secure the people and the community as they spent their long weekends with their love ones. The same personally visited the pilgrimage sites in the city primarily the Malasag and Guadalope sites where volume of people converge as their yearly “PANATA”.
COCPO also secure places of convergence such as Churches where most of our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters prefer
to visit different Churches as part of their “Visita Iglesia”. In anticipation to the volume of people who will flock to beaches and other recreational areas preferred by family during the “Easter Sunday”, Police Colonel Radam, directed his personnel including Special Units of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office to secure these areas and intensify the presence of PNP uniformed personnel while performing their duties.
I expressed my sincerest gratitude to all the people, for their collective efforts they have shared to COCPO which is instrumental in achieving our ultimate goal in securing the people, our devotees and to have a peaceful and meaningful celebration of “PANAAD 2024″ in this Holy Week season. Our steadfast Men and Women of COCPO who have rendered their basic functions in the community, the COCPO Force Multipliers and Advocacy Support Groups, AFP, Volunteers and Partners, Stakeholders, the Local government unit of Barangay Cugman, Balubal and Tablon and the Local government of Cagayan de Oro City for their untiring support being given to COCPO and for the support extended to COCPO Force Multipliers which is crucial in dispensing their duties”.
Most importantly, I personally thanks the people and the community for their continued support being given to their Higalang Police COCPO that develops further our strong partnership in bringing Cagayan de Oro and Kagay-anons to a greater heights in our pursuit to have peaceful and progressive city of Gold for all, and lastly, I thank the Lord Almighty for His Divine intervention, Favor and protection handed to the entire PNP uniformed personnel, AFP, civilian volunteers and to our beloved Brothers and Sisters in this favored Nation, Ang Bagong Pilipinas, added Police Colonel SALVADIR N RADAM, City Director of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office.
