Over 4 million pesos worth of SHABU busted by COCPS8

Cagayan de Oro City Police Office- August 4, 2022, PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director lauded the significant accomplishment of Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of PS8 led by PMAJ ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO, Stacom through a conduct drug buy-bust operation in coordination with PDEA 10 under pre-ops number 30002-082022- 0095 which resulted in the arrest of the target person identified as Jonel Curay 26 yo, with live-in partner and a resident of Brgy. 26, Purok 6, Gingoog City Bought from the suspect 1pc sachet of heat sealed transparent cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu worth 3,500 pesos. Further, recovered from the suspect possession and control 2 pieces knot tied plastic transparent cellophane containing white crystalline Substance of suspected shabu and 5 pieces large heat sealed transparent plastic cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu with total estimated weight of 600 grams with total estimated market value of 4,080,000 pesos and buy-bust money worth 3,500 pesos consist of 3pcs 1,000 bill with serial number SL318608, JS236349, MZ539366 and 1pc 500 peso bill with serial number AV082540.

The Official added, the markings and photographs were made at the scene in the presence of Brgy Kagawad Violeta Tejor of Brgy Lumbia, CDOC, Bart Ian Mercado DOJ Representative and Menzie Montes of iFM radio.

Suspect is now under custody of this station for case filing.

The said COCPO accomplishment transpired on the same date at 3:50 PM at Masterson’s avenue, Fronting hotel Koresko, Brgy Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.
