2 Militia yields to COCPO
Cagayan de Oro City Police Office- September 5, 2022, PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director lauded the significant accomplishment of the joint operating teams thru Intel driven operation from CMFC intel operatives together with R2, RIU and assisted by NCMSO-MAPIO which resulted to the successful surrender of a certain JOHN REY PILONG y DAL-ANAY aka “ka Kans” 22y/o Regular NPA member of Squad 2, Platoon 2, Coy Malayag, SRC 2, GF6, NCMRC (Not PSR listed) and OSCAR BALAGBAG y OPAW aka “Ka JAG” Supply/ Liason Officer NPA in the Bario (Militia ng Bayan) both residents of sitio Alimpulos, Brgy Kawayan, San Fernando Bukidnon that transpired on 2:30PM, September 03, 2022 at KM18, Brgy Besigan, Cagayan de Oro City.
Information received that on August 31, 2022 9:00 PM and September 01, 2022, around 12:00NN, Alfredo Goyon (BIN) reported to RIU, and coordinated to CIU and CMFC operatives, stated that an alleged NPA in the Barrio member of SRC5, found at KM18, Brgy Besigan thereafter PSMs Gil Agne, PSMS Ryan Perez and PSMs Andy Balabat conducted infiltration to convinced them to voluntarily surrender.
On September 01, 2022 at around 2:30 PM, CMFC Operatives (Lead unit) led by PLT FELZAR LOUIE FERNANDEZ, TL, ERT personnel led by PLT EMMANUEL D MURILLO JR, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL JOEPET BALDONADO PAGLINAWAN, Force Commander together with CIU led by PLTCOL HARVIE S ABELLANOSA, Chief CIU, APC-EM led by PSMS Ryan T Perez, RID-10 led by PSMS Gil T Agne Jr, PS8 COCPO led by PMAJ ALDREN BACULIO, RIU, RID, RMFB10 led by PLTCOL FERMIN D ARMENDARES, RMFB 10 Intel Ops led by PCPT BYRON JOHN O RATUNIL Intel Officer, 1003rd Maneuver Company led by PCPT JASON R FELICILDA 1004th Maneuver Company led by PCPT JOEMAR B CALUD, NCMSO-MAPIO led by PMAJ MICHAEL B ELOPRE, proceeded to, KM18 Brgy Besigan, Cagayan de Oro City and facilitated the voluntary surrender of the abovenamed persons.
Surrendered with them 2 units 12 Gauge improvised Shotgun. Afterwards, proceeded back to CMFC COCPO and arrived at around 4:30pm in the afternoon .
The said surrenderee is now in the custody of CMFC for further debriefing.
