COGON’S NEW ARRANGEMENT FOR THE WELFARE OF EVERYONE

Around 2 o’clock in the afternoon on November 24, 2022, along with PLTCOL JAMES O GAYLAN Chief, City Intelligence Unit, PLTCOL JELESIS D TEVES, Chief, City Operations Management Unit (COMU), PLTCOL JOEPET B PAGLINAWAN, Force Commander, City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) and PMAJ JULIUS G SALUTA, Station Commander, Police Station 2 Cogon, PCOL MANDIA spearheaded the deployment of COCPO personnel to the different nearby streets of Cogon Public Market.
The father of COCPO accompanied the representatives of Local Government Unit of Cagayan de Oro City led by Hon. Councilor John Michael Seno together with the heads of the different departments managing the said market such as CEED, Sanitary Department, RTA and others.
PNP and LGU also conducted Ocular inspection and evaluation around Cogon Market and checked issues like safety precautionary measures, electric illegal tapping in CEPALCO posts, rearrangement of road barriers, parking areas and the clearing and transfer of vendors to the designated streets based on the type of products they are selling.
Some vendors cited their sentiments, suggestions, comments and opinions on the new arrangements around Cogon Market but both parties remained calm, the talks and consultations completed peacefully.
