ALMOST 1M SHABU SEIZED BY COCPO DURING DRUG BUY-BUST OPERATION

COCPO– PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director lauded the significant accomplishment of Police Station 8 (Lumbia) which resulted to the arrest of suspects and possible arrest of other suspects (at large) during the conducted drug buy-bust operation at Saarenas st, Westbound terminal Brgy, Bulua CDOC on January 13, 2023 at 4:30AM.

On the said date, time and place of operation, PS8 SDET led by PMAJ ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO Stacom, conducted drug buy-bust operation in coordination with CIU-87-011323-03 and PDEA 10 under pre-ops number 30002-012023-0157 which resulted in the arrest of the target persons identified as LAURENTE LESTER y GUARDAQUIVIL, 29years old, single a resident of Purok 6 Dominorog Talakag Bukidnon and JOVERT TAYLARAN y MEGUILLO, 47 years old, single, a resident Upper Torre Enayawan Cebu, City, April Rea Joy Guardaquivil y Manginsay 31 y.o, single a resident of Don Carlos Bukidnon.

Bought from the suspects 1pc sachet of heat sealed transparent plastic cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu worth Php 1,000 pesos. Further recovered from the suspects 3 pcs large sachet and 1pc knot tied transparent plastic cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu with total estimated weight of 120 grams with total estimated market value of Php816,000.00pesos and buybust money worth 1,000 pesos consist of 1pc one thousand peso bill with serial number 0266909, 1 unit Caliver .45 pistol inserted with steel magazine loaded with 5 ammunition, 1 pc .45 steel magazine with 4 live ammunition, one leather holster, 1 unit Nissan Navarra color brilliant gray bearing plate no. KAF 8714, 1 unit Toyota Forerunner color Dark gray bearing plate no. FGK 311,1 unit Nissan Navarra color orange bearing plate no. LAF 2548, and assorted drug paraphernalia Markings and photographs were made at the scene in the presence of Brgy Kagawad Leonardo S. llamis of Brgy.Bulua, CDOC and Jonathan Bullo of iFM Radio.

Suspects are now under custody of Police station 8 for case filing.

PCOL Mandia expressed his congratulation to the COCPO operating team for yielding a positive result, likewise
continue appealing to the public to stop on any engagement of any illegal drug activity as COCPO will continue pushing our relentless effort on our Anti-illegal drug campaign until no one is involve with the same.
