Cagayan de Oro City Police Office- PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director lauded the swift response of COCPO Operating teams which resulted the timely arrest of a certain Jalil Lucman , 49 y/o, married,.male a res..of B-1 L-22 Villa Angela Balulang, CDOC on January 23, 2023@ 9:40 PM at Manggahan, Balulang, CDOC for Robbery Incident.

In his report, at about 6:00 PM on Jan. 23, 2023, the victim identified as Julianne May Cesar y Ramayla 20 yo, single, female a res. of Hayes St. CDOC. personally came to this office reported that the above named suspect wants to meet up her at above address, this incident was in connection of robbery incident on Jan..22, 2023 at around 9:00 PM at Montierra Upper Balulang, CDOC. Then suspect deal with the victim in to returned his cellular phone in exchange of money and victim request for police assistance. Upon received of that information, Elements from PS4 led by PMAJ MARIO NALLA MANTALA JR, STACOM, together with elements from CMFC led by PLTCOL JOEPET B PAGLINAWAN, CMFC COMMANDER and elements from CIU conducted Joint Entrapment Operation, which resulted to the arrest of the suspect, and positively pinpointed by the victim.

Recovered during the operation were 1 unit of cal 45 pistol w/ SN: 258713 with 1 inserted magazine with 7 cartridges of cal. 45 pistol, 1 unit cellphone Huawei owned by the suspect, 1 unit cellphone Iphone 13 owned by the victim, 3 pcs different ID’s, 1 pc remote key control of Yamaha NMAX Motorcycle, 1 unit Yamaha NMAX Motorcycle bearing a plate No. 833 KUF 2 pcs of 1,000 pesos genuine money use as Entrapment money.

During the arrest of the suspect he resisted and fight back to the operating team. The operation was conducted with use of BWC. The said operation were witnessed by one of the Kagawad of Brgy Balulang and representative of Strong Radio.

The arrested suspect was held under PS4 custodial facility and the recovered cal 45 pistol was brought to RCLO-10 for ballistic examination and for firearms verification at RCSU 10.
