Cagayan de Oro City Police Office – PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director, COCPO lauded the significant accomplishment of joint operating team of City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) led by PMAJ ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO, OIC and CIU for a successful conduct of drug buy-bust operation in coordination with PDEA 10 under pre-ops no. 30002-042023-0153 which resulted in the arrest of a certain ” Bryan”, male, 33 years old, single and a of resident of Zone 8, Zayas, Brgy. Carmen, CDOC transpired on April 11, 2023, 2:10 AM at 9th Street, Brgy. Nazareth, CDOC.

City Director has reported that suspect just released from DAPECOL the previous year after serving his sentence for violation of RA 9165. That during the buy-bust operation, bought from the suspect was 1 pc. sachet of heat sealed transparent plastic cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu worth 3,000 pesos.

Further, physical evidences confiscated from the suspect’s possession were; 9 sachet of shabu having a weight of 550gms with market value of php3,740,000.00 and 3 pieces 1k paper bill as buy bust money.

Markings and photographed were made at the scene in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad of Brgy. Nazareth, CDOC and iFM Radio representative and the operation was equipped with BWC serial no. TD51080044730.

PCOL AARON M MANDIA, CD, COCPO vows to launch more Anti-illegal drug operation under his watch. The recent anti-Illegal Drugs operation bespeak the commitment of COCPO personnel to eradicate or eliminate illegal drugs in the City and in the entire region of Northern Mindanao, henceforth, involved personnel is worthy of emulation, thus citations and awards is being read.

Pcol Mandia has informed the public that suspect is now under custody of CDEU while an appropriate case is being readed.
