Cagayan de Oro City – PCOL SALVADOR N RADAM, Officer-In-Charge, COCPO expressed his sincerest thanks to the entire COCPO family for the collective efforts being shared instrumental in achieving a “generally peaceful” Security Assessment in the just concluded Higalaay Festival in the city of Cagayan de Oro.

PCOL Radam, cited the efforts and sacrifices of every COCPO personnel for the unwavering commitment they have rendered in order to secure the safety of the people in the city as well as visitors coming from different places locally and abroad just to experience the Hospitality of a Kagay-anon as well as the Higalaay Festival.

During the launching of the Higalaay Festival on August 1, 2023, at Rio de Oro Boulevard, a series of activities were conducted to showcase the cultures, traditions, and roots of a true Kagay-anon.

The Official is ever grateful for the untiring support extended by Police Regional Office 10, Task Force Oro, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fire Protection, Road and Traffic Administration, CDRRMD, COCPO Force Multipliers and the Advocacy Support group, Religious and Business Sector, Friends from the Media, other Volunteers, Stakeholders and Partners which greatly affects to the overall peace and order situation during the entire duration of the festival. Likewise, He has acknowledged their great contributions that complement the efforts of your Higalang Pulis COCPO.

Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) cannot do it alone but through the overwhelming support of the Cagayan de Oro-Local Government Unit, the Chief Executive, the different department Managers/heads, and all those who took part on the occasion, all had contributed in securing a generally peaceful celebration of Higalaay Festival.
