Cagayan de Oro City – The City Drug Enforcement Unit personnel of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office led by Police Major ALDREN E BACULIO, Officer-In-Charge together with CIU personnel under the leadership of Police Colonel SALVADOR N RADAM, City Director successfully arrested High Value Individuals HVI, a certain Joe #######, male, 45 yrs old, married and Jona ########, female, 20 years old, both residents of Sta. Cruz, Brgy. Macasandig, CDOC and seizure of 50 grams of alleged shabu with SDP of Php 340,000.00 at about 1:40 PM of November 26, 2023.

The said buy-bust operation was in coordination with PDEA 10 under Pre-ops number 30002-112023-0316 which resulted in the arrest of the above-mentioned suspects. Recovered from the suspects were twelve pcs sachets of alleged shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with SDP of Php 340,000.00 and one pc Php500 bill used as buy-bust money.

Markings, photographs and video recording using the PNP issued specified Body-Worn camera were made at the scene in the presence of Brgy. Chairman Mario Buoanio of Brgy Macasandig, CDOC and Princess Jade Villaluna Media representative of Magnum Radio Cagayan de Oro City. Suspects were temporarily under custody of CDEU. Case is being prepared for filing.
