Cagayan de Oro City Police Office- PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director marks the significant accomplishments of joint operating teams of CDEU and CIU of COCPO which resulted to the arrests of a certain German Cartagena y Quimbo, 36 years old, married, Zone 3, Baikingon and, CDOC and Rosalie Zamora y Turtoga, 46 years old, married, Zone 6, Gumamela Ext., Carmen, CDOC during buy-bust operation transpired on February 12, 2023 at about 12:53 AM at Blck 2, Piaping Puti Brgy. Macabalan, Cdoc.

In his report, the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) led by PMAJ ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO, OIC and City Intelligence Unit (CIU-COCPO) conducted joint drug buy-bust operation in coordination with PDEA 10 under pre-ops no. 30002-022023-0212 which resulted in the arrest of the above mentioned target person. Bought from the suspect 1 pc. sachet of heat sealed transparent plastic cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu worth 1000 pesos.

He added, a recovered from the suspect’s possession and control (1) one Samsung cellular phone color blue with camera, (1) one sling bag color brown containing (2) two pieces heat sealed transparent plastic cellophane containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu with total estimated weight of MOL 5 grams with total market value of Php34,000.00 and buybust money consist of one thousand peso bill with serial number XC876503.

Markings and photographs were made at the scene in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad of Brgy. Macabalan CDOC, iFM reporter and the operation was equipped with BWC serial no. TD51080044730.

PCOL AARON MONTALAN MANDIA, CD, COCPO commended Cocpo operating teams for a positive results during joint operations. Further, City Director strongly encourage the listening public to stop on any engagement of illegal drugs activity.

Appropriate awards and citations are being prepared to the deserving COCPO personnel.

The suspects are now under custody of CDEU-COCPO for case filing. ###
