COCPO ENSURES SECURITY PREPARATIONS ARE ALL SET IN TIME OF VISIT OF FPRRD IN THE CITY
Cagayan de Oro City Police Office- PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director has assures the general public that COCPO are
ready and ensures that COCPO security preparations are all set in time of visit of Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte at Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City on March 23, 2023.
PCOL Mandia along with the command staff has come up an appropriate actions to be undertaken by COCPO personnel to ensure the safety and security of the VIPs and the participants while visiting here in the city, this was in conjunction to the result of the coordination meeting conducted with the presence of the organizing team with COCPO officials.
The Chief of COCPO has directed the chief of every units on their participation and Special tasks to be undertaken which primarily focus on giving security and ensures the safety of Former President of the Republic of the Philippines. He added, there has to be a 1 Platoon of Civil Disturbance Management to be ready, just in case of any untowards incident that may arise or when the presence of rallyist exist.
Further, the Official has directed his men to establish smooth communication on the event and Intensify intelligence monitoring and provide timely intelligence/information to all tasked offices in order to preempt terroristic activities.
PNP personnel are detailed to act as route security/Traffic marshal at the strategic areas, while Police Assistance Desk (PADs) must be visible at the venue in the Hotel to further ensure the safety and security of the VIP and the participants of the event.
With the full cooperation of COCPO personnel and with their dedication to their respective tasks of all detailed personnel and other security forces in the area, PCOL Mandia is optimistic that we could achieve our ultimate goal which is securing the safety on the visit of FPRRD here in the city peacefully.
