Drug Buy Bust Operation Yielded Positive Result
Cagayan de Oro City Police Office- September 19, 2022, PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director commended the remarkable accomplishment of Police Station 8 operating team which resulted in the arrest of target person identified as MARILOU GERONG y AUGUSTO 63 y.o., married and a resident of Zone-6, Zayas, Brgy. Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City last September 17, 2022 at 8:00 PM
and said incident transpired at above-said place this city.
On the same date and time, SDET of PS8 led by PMAJ ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO Stacom, conducted drug buy-bust operation in coordination with CIU pre-ops number 84 091722-115 and PDEA 10 under pre-ops number 30002-092022-0320 which resulted in the arrest of the target person identified as MARILOU GERONG y AUGUSTO 63 y.o., married and a resident of Zone-6, Zayas, Brgy. Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City Bought from the suspect 1pc heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu worth 500 pesos.
Further, recovered from the suspect possession and control 5 pieces large heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu and 1 piece small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu with total estimated weight of 85 grams with total estimated market value of 578,000.00 pesos and buybust money worth 500 pesos consist of 1 piece 500 peso bill with serial number TK590182. Suspect is now under custody of this station for case filing.
