The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) participated in the 83rd Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) commemoration held at the City Amphitheater in Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City.
PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 10, along with PCOL SALVADOR N RADAM, COCPO City Director, and COCPO personnel, joined the solemn ceremony themed βKabayanihan ng Beterano: Sandigan ng Kaunlaran ng Bagong Pilipinasβ (βThe Veteransβ Heroism as Bedrock of Progress of the New Philippinesβ).
The event was spearheaded by the Local Government Unit (LGU) led by City Council Majority Floor Leader Edgar Cabanlas and City Administrator Roy Hilario Raagas. Representatives from various national and local organizations were also present to pay tribute.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the wreath-laying activityβa symbolic gesture of remembrance and gratitude to the heroes who selflessly gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy today.
