On February 16, 2023, at 8:30 AM, COCPO personnel under the leadership of PCOL AARON M MANDIA, City Director conducted a Bloodletting Activity dubbed as “Dugo Mo, Kinabuhi Ko” in partnership with the Blood Bank, Northern Mindanao Medical Center.
The said activity were participated by Bishop Pio Butch Pequiro, CCADU Life Coach, Dr Ryan C. LIM, NMMC, Blood Bank Officer, Camella D. B. Belisario, Nurse/Donor Recruitment Officer/Bloodletting Coordinator, NMMC, PLTCOL DUPHAR CHRIS A CUARESMA, DCDA, PLTCOL EVAN N VINAS, C, CCADU/PIO, PCPT EMILITA M SIMON, Deputy, CCADU, COCPO personnel, Advocacy Support Group, Force Multipliers, BFP, BJMP, Civilian Volunteers, Student Interns from SPC and COC.
The COCPO Bloodletting activity was one of the Best practices of COCPO conducted twice a year every month of February and September respectively to help the depleting supply of Blood in NMMC Blood Bank and help our brothers and sisters in need of Blood. The activity ended at about 1:00 PM of the same date with a total of 87 successful blood donors with a total of 39,150 CC collected on that
same day.
