PRO10 TOP COP LAUDS ORO COPS

COCPO- PRO10’s Higalang Pulis Action Man, Regional Director PBGEN LAWRENCE BALDAN COOP, made his routine inspection of the area of responsibility of Higalang Pulis Cagayan de Oro City Police Office in consonance with the PNP Security Plan on UNDAS 2022 on November 1, 2022, and have checked and assessed the situation of the cemeteries and vital installations, and the deployment of PNP personnel, force multipliers, and Advocacy groups.

PBGEN COOP was warmly welcomed by the COCPO Staff and Officers headed by its City Director, PCOL AARON MONTALAN MANDIA.

The region’s top cop attended mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Roger E. Almonia, SSJV at Bolonsori Funeral Home and Mortuary Chapel, Camaman-an, and inspected the four prime cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria in COCPO AOR namely: Cagayan de Oro City Memorial Gardens, Sitio Bolonsori, Camaman-an, CDOC, Divine Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Bulua, CDOC, Eternal Gardens (Green Hills Memorial Parks), Bulua, CDOC and Oro Gardens/Pryce Memorial Gardens, Lumbia, all in Cagayan de Oro City.

During his inspection, PBGEN COOP lauded the responsiveness and readiness of COCPO personnel along with the Lingkod Bayan Advocacy support Groups and Force Multipliers, and other government agencies especially the Quick Response Team (QRT) on any eventualities that may arise and also to the efforts, and sacrifices in maintaining the security, peace and order including the smooth and organized flow of traffic on all cemeteries in the city.

PBGEN COOP appreciated the Security Plan that was prepared by Higalang Pulis COCPO and also extended his gratitude to the different civilian volunteers from non-government organizations who are part of the Lingkod Bayan Advocacy support Groups and Force Multipliers of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office who offered voluntarism without reward to help and support the personnel of COCPO on making Cagayan de Oro City a safer place to live, work and do business and giving their support on big events like UNDAS.

The Regional Director urged the public to follow the existing guidelines implemented by the Local Government Unit to attain peace and tranquility while celebrating the All Saints and All Souls Day.##
