Cagayan de Oro City – The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office under the leadership of Police Colonel SALVADOR N RADAM, City Director successfully taken the Arrest of Top 9 PNP, PDEA Drug personality regional level priority target, a certain ANDY TABAN y BABANO (HVI), 49 years old, single, resident of Barra, Macabalan, CDOC for Viol. of R.A. 9165 and seizure of 15 grams of shabu with SDP of Php 102,000.00. The said arrests transpired on January 8, 2024, 9:45 PM at Barra, Brgy Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City.

Based on the report of PCOL Radam, City Director to higher headquarters of Police Regional Office 10 under the command of Police Brigadier General RICARDO G LAYUG JR., Regional Director, PRO 10, that a Buy-bust operation was conducted at the aforementioned date, time and place by City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Major ALDREN ESTRADA BACULIO, Chief-CDEU, together with City Intelligence Unit-COCPO in coordination with PDEA 10 under Pre-ops number 30002-012024-0086 which resulted in the arrest of the above-mentioned suspect and recovery of worth Php1000 buy-bust money and confiscation of 5 sachets of suspected shabu with total estimated weight of 15 grams and street value of Php 102,000.00 in Violation of R.A. 9165.

Further stated in his report that operating teams has secure markings, photographs and video recording using the PNP issued specified Body-Worn camera were made at the scene in the presence of Brgy. Kag Penel Ramas of Brgy Macabalan, CDOC and Media representative Menzie Montes of iFM Radio.

The suspect is now under custody CDEU Office for case filing.
