On January 12, 2023, at 8:00 am, CCADU personnel PSSg Jayson John A Abesamis, under the supervision of PLTCOL EVAN NEQUINTO VIÑAS, Chief CCADU/PIO COCPO under the leadership of PCOL AARON MONTALAN MANDIA City Director, supervised and escorted the organization and mobilization of COCPO KALIGKASAN Advocacy Support Groups headed by President Jerson Ebal from Kusgan Volunteers Incorporated (KVI) for the distribution of relief goods on the victims of floods at Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental. The team comprises personnel from CLIMBS Cares, represented by Mr Reynan Diaz, Vice-President for Marketing, Strong 90.3FM, and Strong John Michael Bustamante and some members of Kusgan Volunteers Incorporated. The team travelled with sets of food packs consisting of 3 kilos of rice, canned goods, noodles, coffee, milk, sugar, soap and drinking water, and distributed used clothing. The team arrived at Gingoog City at around 12 noon and distributed 350 relief goods at the different affected communities of Brgy Odiongan, Brgy 19 and Brgy. Lunao.
