The Filipino-Chinese Chee Kung Tong Foundation’s Chairman Johnson Que and representatives, together with the local government of Cagayan de Oro City held a charity event in the clubhouse on Christmas Day
On December 25th, The Filipino-Chinese Chee Kung Tong Foundation Misamis Oriental Chapter, under the leadership of Chairman Johnson Que, Honorary Chairman Shi Haibing, Vice Chairman Xue Peilin and other leaders, together with Chief Police Superintendent and City Councilor of Cagayan de Oro City, distributed 200 packs of relief goods, 200 Spring Festival calendars and 10,000 pieces of surgical masks to local residents in the clubhouse.
On that day, Chairman Johnson Que and City Councilor George Goking delivered warmth speeches in local dialect. People at the scene felt very cordial and laughed heartily, and interact with each other very well. The local residents also expressed their gratitude to the Filipino-Chinese Chee Kung Tong Foundation Misamis Oriental Chapter for distributing Christmas relief goods and supplies every Christmas. They expressed their gratitude saying that under the pressure of the pandemic pf these 2 years, they still got help from the local Chinese, receiving gifts every year, and thanked all the Filipino-Chinese Chee Kung Tong Foundation Misamis Oriental Chapter’s representatives and members.
We hoped that in the future charity activities of the Filipino-Chinese Chee Kung Tong Foundation Misamis Oriental Chapter, the local Filipinos and the local Chinese will be more unified, and also hoped for the long last friendship between the Filipinos and the Chinese people.
