CCTV FOOTAGES COLLECTED TO TRACE AND IDENTIFY ROBBERS, BEAT PATROLLERS MORE STRENGTHENED
The joint team of personnel from intelligence, investigation and operation units have been dispatched and is now coordinating and collecting informations and footages from CCTVs around the city that will lead the police to trace the identities and whereabouts of the suspects.
COCPO’s top cop, PCOL AARON M MANDIA said, that prior of the incident, beat patrollers who are organic personnel of COCPO have been already deployed in the strategic areas together with the augmented personnel from Regional Mobile Force Battalion. Beat patrollers detailed in shifts in order to secure the city 24 hours.
The City Director stresses on the robbery incident at Steezy Gadget Hub at Corrales Fernandez Streets, CDOC yesterday morning wherein estimated not less than 3.7 million of gadgets as per declaration of the management have been carted by the 3 unidentified suspects.
The City Director calling upon the residents of Cagayan de Oro to be always vigilant and always keep on contact with the PNP to prevent crimes and possible presence of criminals and lawless elements during this yulitude season.
The official also calling the public whenever they notice illegitimate dealers of gadgets selling in a suspicious low price to report and coordinate with the nearest PNP offices in their location for the possible conduct of investigation.
As of this report, COCPO cited every angle on investigation for the fastest and earliest solution of the case and filing appropriate charges against the suspects.
